Camps & Special Events

We all need to get away from the normal distractions of life every now and then to focus on developing quality friendships and hearing truth from God. We want to give students the opportunity to do this several times a year. This year, we're looking forward to attending the 2024 LIFT Tour!

This is an in-town retreat with sessions hosted at Cross Pointe Church. Students will be staying in local host homes with their Small Groups on Friday night, hosted by Sugar Hill Church Adult Leaders. It will be a weekend of awesome teaching, powerful worship, and fun activities. The cost is $99 per student (includes all meals, t-shirt, programming, and transportation, and activities for the event).

Every year our students rave about Summer Camp, and it’s easy to see why. When you combine amazing worship, powerful teaching, exciting games, and unique activities, you have a recipe for an amazing week. From the high ropes course, zip line, gaga ball, sand volleyball, cornhole, and more, there’s never a dull moment.

Kids & Student Ministries partner together for this incredible week! Summer Serve Week is a day camp for rising 1st – 12th graders designed to teach them the importance of serving in our community, schools, church, family, and world. It combines biblical teaching with hands-on service projects that help them understand that they have a part in what we are called to do. We’ve made cookies and thank-you notes for our church staff and fire fighters, washed cars, organized food at the North Gwinnett Co-Op, painted fences in city parks, picked up tree limbs in yards, and so much more!

We also have lots of fun with crazy team games! Each color team is led by Adult Leaders, and is made up of kids and students from each grade. This allows our kids to form new friendships and gives leadership opportunities to our students.

We love this event because it’s who we are here at Sugar Hill Church - we live out the Word of God by serving our community!
