How do we help students discover and live God’s Best?
Sunday Morning Small Groups
Sunday Morning Small Groups are an opportunity for students to create lasting friendships and grow deeper in their faith. An amazing team of adult leaders invest in students through grade (6th-12th) and gender-specific small groups, teaching our Grounded for Life curriculum.
Wednesday night Programming
Wednesday Nights are a great way for 6th-12th grade students to get connected to #sugarhillstudents and see what we're all about. Wednesdays normally consist of food, fun games, worship, and teaching. Throughout the semester, we have several fun Invite Nights planned, where students are encouraged to invite friends to have a great time with us.
Trips & Special Events
There's something really powerful about getting out of the normal routine that allows us to be more open to hearing what God wants to say to us or commemorate what He was done. Weekend Retreats, Summer Camps, and Graduate Recognition are a few of the ways we hit pause on normal life to listen and recognize how God is working!
Grounded For Life
We’ve developed a Comprehensive Spiritual Growth Plan for Students that we call Grounded for Life. This plan encourages and equips students to develop a deeper understanding of their Identity, learn what Maturity looks like, and how to take Responsibility as a follower of Jesus. Over the course of a student’s progression from 6th through 12th Grade we ingrain 9 biblical principles that will transform a student’s walk with Jesus for the rest of his or her life. Everything we do comes back to modeling and teaching this plan.

Live in the Light - Wed PM

We’ve talked a lot about light this past year. We’ve talked about God being the light source, His word being a lamp to our feet, and us being a lighthouse for the lost. But what does it looks like to actually “live In the light” ourselves? Students all over struggle to really grow in their faith because of their friends. Maybe it’s because they don't know how to pick good friends, or perhaps they don’t know how to hold each other accountable (because let's be real... it's kinda awkward). In week 2, we're talking about how to live out biblical community, confessing our faults one to another, praying for one another, and holding each other accountable.
